Tine Clausen
Tine Dalsgaard Clausen Is an MD, specialised in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2012. She is senior consultant at Department of Gynecology, Fertility and Obstetrics, at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark, and associate professor at University of Copenhagen. Her main clinical field of interest is within diabetes and medical complications in pregnancy. She has been chairing several cross-disciplinary national guideline groups within obstetric medicine, most recently on the future screening for gestational diabetes. In 2008 she defended her Phd thesis entitled: ”Diabetes in pregnancy – long-term implications for the offspring”. Her research is focused on perinatal programming, related to diabetes in pregnancy, assisted reproduction, physical activity, and mode of delivery. Research methods include, clinical follow-up studies, register based studies and randomized-controlled studies. In 2018 she received the Joseph Hoet Research Award, from the The Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group, for research excellence in the field of Diabetes and Pregnancy.
